First Go The Pink Dog wins at Geelong
Monday saw the first Go The Pink dog win at Geelong.It took until race five when the Colin Rose Jnr. trained Big Cool Prince won from the pink.The win sees a donation from Greyhound Racing Victoria of $500 towards the McGrath Foundation.Big Cool Prince is owned by the Cool Bay Syndicate and won by 3.75 lengths in the time of 26:18.The photo below depicts the happy connections-Left to right:Barry Buckingham,Colin Rose Jnr and Geelong Staff member John O'Connell with Go The Pink greyhound Big Cool Prince.Later in the day another greyhound Big Cool Magic trained by Troy Harvey also saluted and tipped another $500 into the McGrath Foundation kitty.

Geelong Greyhound Racing Club - "Where the big guns fly...." is situated off the Princess Highway, as you enter the Greater City of Geelong from Melbourne.  Entry to the track is off Broderick Road, Corio.

In March 2008 the new Kennel Block and Administration building was officially opened. The $1.6 million development has been a great addition to the Beckley Park Complex with Geelong racing twice a week on Mondays and Friday nights.
