The Geelong Greyhound Racing Club recently took over the day to day operations of the Market, which it has owned since its inception.  To give the Market a fresh feel it has been renamed and is now known as the "Geelong Greyhounds Saturday Community Market" at Beckley Park. 

 The Club urges all participants to attend the Beckley Park Market, which operates every Saturday from 8am - 1pm.  The market has a large fruit & vegie section, with weekly specials that are unmatched anywhere else in Geelong.  The Market also has a delicatessen section and fresh fish van along with up to 200 stalls selling a wide range of products.  Club Directors and General Manager Wayne Elliott are in attendance at the Beckley Park Market from the early hours of Saturday morning, and the Club looks forward to seeing as many greyhound participants at the Market as possible.  If you are trialling at the track on saturday why not stop at the Market as well and pick up some great bargains.  Admission and parking are free.  New stallholders, both casual and permanent are welcome.  Contact the Club for details on 52752298.
